Step by Step...

I am finally walking without crutches!! Due to popular demand and those of you with medical interests, I have posted some pictures on my web album of my episode with knee surgery. I am healing well and returning to the DR on January 7th. Happy Holidays!

Funding

Prayer Requests

Health: My stomache seems to be getting stronger (and we have a better water filter). Bless pray for continued healing and protection for my leg. I am certainly getting plenty of practice walking on what the physical therapists call "uneven surfaces"!
Patience: This school is doing amazing things....they just take time and huge amounts of effort to pull off
Funding: I am so blessed to have reached my funding goal! If you would like to continue to contribute to Doulos next year I would be happy to make suggestions.
More Teachers: Doulos is looking for teachers for next year. Please spread the word.
Rest and Rejuvenation: I am so thankful to have had my knee fixed, but my body is still healing and the daily tasks of living here wear me out.
